Disclosure @ Bomb Factory, Dallas, TX

Disclosure, the UK duo of the brothers Lawrence, have not only made a name for themselves in the electronic community but their songs have reached super stardom on the radio and the internet alike.  Simply catchy songs with great beats and better vocals, brothers Guy and Howard have had vocal contributions from the likes of Lorde, AlunaGeorge, the Weeknd, and most notably, Sam Smith.  In the matter of a few years, since the release of their debut album Settle, Disclosure has risen to the highest of highs, performing at venues worldwide and having high-profile sets at massive music festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.  Now touring in support of their latest effort, Caracal, the brothers from Surrey have continued their rise to the upper echelon of music royalty.

At first glance, Disclosure's stage setup doesn't appear to be fancy at all.  Two standalone, wrapping tables with a plethora of electronic and percussion equipment present and a large light panel behind them, it has the makings of most electronic sets.  But once the brothers Lawrence set the music in motion, that's when the fun starts.  Active illustrations of guest vocalists during songs like "Omen" (Sam Smith) and "Willing and Able" (Kwabs), complimented the complex live tracks provided by Guy and Howard.  Maneuvering light rigs, spotlights, and the massive light panel made for some of the best production I've seen at the Bomb Factory.  Of course, the music and crowd were connected hand in hand the entire night.  From Settle track "F for You" to Caracal's extended "Bang That", which provided the night's best bass drops, the duo had the crowd moving all night.  To the end the night on the highest of notes, the brother's chose "Latch", their biggest hit to date.  I cannot stress enough how much you need to check out this band.  They are simply amazing.  Photos of the show are below:

enjoy.
