Video: Atlas Sound @ Le Poisson Rouge, CMJ Music Marathon

Just came across some old footage of Bradford Cox, aka Atlas Sound, performing alongside fellow Georgians, the Selmanaires, at Le Poisson Rouge during the CMJ Music Marathon.  The song performed is "Criminals" from his latest solo release, Logos, which was released the day of this show.  This video was recorded with my Flip Mino HD that was placed on the stage in between two monitors and left there during the entire duration of the set; the audio was captured from a stereo camcorder.  I was going to post the majority of the show but it seems I have lost the main video file.  I might still be able to post a couple more from the show, just from another angle.

The Bloody Beetroots - Death Crew 77 @ House of Blues

If you missed the Bloody Beetroots' live act, Death Crew 77, at the House of Blues in Dallas, you missed one hell of a night.  The addition of a drummer to the duo's live set really made the music electric and the performance amazingly brilliant.  The trio blazed through a fantastic set, creating a constantly jumping and dancing crowd at the HOB.  I was amazed at the turnout on the Thursday night show but I have noticed that Dallas is typically starved for great electronic acts coming through.  I would definitely put this show among the best of the year and perhaps one of the top two I've seen since I've been in Dallas; LCD Soundsystem being the other.  If you ever get a chance to see them live, I would highly recommend seeing them.  Video and pictures of the show are below:

Hiatus

After a brief hiatus, I am back.  My current work schedule is really crazy right now and I have been having some technical issues as well.  I will be back-tracking and posting content from the past month and a half, so stay tuned.  I hope you all have been good and I hope to get back in the saddle as soon as possible.  Thanks for your patience.
